It's Almost Pumpkin Time!

Vale Wood Farms Pumpkin Patch

The Vale Wood Farms annual Pumpkin Patch has fun for all, including hayrides, a straw maze, a giant corn box, pumpkin ice cream, apple dumplings, and of course plenty of pumpkins!  Please stop by and join in the fun!

The Pumpkin Patch will be held October 4th to 19th with special weekend activities from 11 am to 5 pm.  Admission is $1 (ages 2 and under are free).

Annual Events

School Tours in May and October
Vale Wood Farms welcomes local school children every May and October to tour our dairy farm and processing plant.  The tours give kids a chance to experience the milk story- from moo to you!  Click here to see pictures from our school tours.

Pumpkin Patch in October
Vale Wood Farms hosts a pumpkin patch every October.  Local families enjoy the fall by picking their own pumpkins, relaxing on a hayride, getting lost in a straw maze, drinking warm apple cider, eating delicious apple dumplings, and indulging in pumpkin ice cream!  Local groups also enjoy school tours and hayride tours.  Click here to view our pumpkin patch photo gallery!

Cresson Heritage Days in October

Vale Wood Farms is pleased to participate in Cresson Heritage Days.  Every year, Cresson residents are treated to a hayride, Vale Wood Farms ice cream, and Vale Wood Farms iced tea.

Ebensburg Potatofest in October
Every October, Vale Wood Farms takes part in the annual Ebensburg Potatofest.  This festival celebrates Cambria County's potato production, which is the largest in the state.  The Vale Wood Farms booth offered ice cream and drinks to Ebensburg residents.  For previous Potatofests, Vale Wood Farms has produced a limited edition ice cream flavor- Sweet Potato!
